How to choose the right sterilizer?
The sterilization process water of a sterilization pot can be recycled, saving energy, time, manpower, and material resources, thus reducing production costs. Sterilization pots are mainly used in various fields such as the food industry and pharmaceuticals. They feature a large heating area, high thermal efficiency, uniform heating, short boiling time for liquids, and easy control of heating temperatures, making them widely used. Below are some points of attention and common knowledge when purchasing a sterilization pot:
When choosing to purchase a sterilization pot, the following points should be considered:
1. Select based on temperature control accuracy and uniformity of heat distribution. If the product requires strict temperature control, especially for export products, which demand very uniform heat distribution, it is advisable to choose a fully automatic computer-controlled sterilization pot.
2. Considering energy savings, the characteristic is that the upper tank serves as a hot water tank while the lower tank is the processing tank. The hot water from the upper tank is reused, saving a significant amount of steam, making it suitable for food production enterprises with daily outputs exceeding 10 tons.
3. For smaller production volumes, consider using an electric-steam dual-purpose sterilization pot. Its principle involves generating steam through electric heating in the lower tank and performing sterilization in the upper tank.
4. If the product has a higher viscosity and needs to be rotated during sterilization, then a rotary sterilization pot should be chosen.
5. For products requiring gas packaging or those with strict appearance requirements, a fully automatic or semi-automatic computer-controlled sterilization pot should be selected.
6. If the product's outer packaging is glass bottles or tinplate, because the speed of temperature rise and fall must be controllable, it is generally advisable not to choose a double-layer sterilization pot, although this option is also available.
